About Irina Ribeiro

Background: Ms. Ribeiro comes from a colorful cultural background. Her father immigrated to the United States from Mexico in 1966 and her mother is a first generation American, whose family immigrated to the United States from Hong Kong in 1944.

License: Irina Ribeiro is a member of the State Bar of California and Oregon.

Education: Ms. Ribeiro obtained her Juris Doctor in San Diego, at the California Western School of Law. Prior to law school, she attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Legal Studies.

Experience: Ms. Ribeiro has successfully represented employers in complex business immigration matters. Similarly, she has reunited families living in different countries and helped individuals to obtain legal status in the U.S. Prior to practicing immigration law, Ms. Ribeiro represented financial institutions and related entities at a large business litigation firm where she gained invaluable courtroom experience.

Approach: Ms. Ribeiro’s approach to the practice of law is good work and communication. Immigrating to the U.S. is difficult and confusing. Philanthropy: Ms. Ribeiro is a strong animal rights advocate. She works with rescue groups throughout California to rescue and rehabilitate abused and abandoned animals in danger of being euthanized.
